New Resource: Self Management Issue Briefs

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently issued two new self-management education (SME) issue briefs. These briefs are designed to supplement marketing efforts, describing both the Chronic Disease Self-Management and Arthritis Self-Management programs, highlighting their evidence, and providing a clear call to action. One brief is directed at health care professionals and others who could refer or recommend a SME program, and the other is intended for organizational decision makers who are considering adopting these programs.
