Use Our Free Toolkit to Educate Seniors

NCOA has teamed with the Arthritis Foundation to develop a free toolkit to help professionals educate older adults about OA and how they can put pain in its place. You can use the toolkit to host a workshop for the seniors you serve.

May is a great time to schedule an event because it's National Arthritis Month. The free toolkit includes:

The workshop is designed to help seniors by:

  • Arming them with knowledge they need to manage osteoarthritis pain.
  • Preparing them with strategies they can use to prevent and relieve pain.
  • Inspiring them to take action to get pain under control and to build their life around wellness, not illness.

For a free copy of the complete toolkit, please email Christine Harding at christine.harding@ncoa.org.

Attend a Train-the-Trainer Session

We're also hosting several workshops for professionals on how to use the OA toolkit successfully in the community. The sessions are free, and mileage reimbursement is available. See the agenda.
