C.H.E.F. Report - Health Promotion for Older Adults in Public Housing

As part of the work WA State Aging and Disability Services Administration is doing to disseminate CDSMP and other evidence-based health promotion practices, ADSA contracted with the Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (CHEF) to identify components of an effective CDSMP implementation strategy for older adults in publicly supported housing. CHEF conducted focus groups with older adults living in Housing Authority properties in Spokane, Tacoma, Walla Walla, and Vancouver. The findings from those focus groups and conversations with Housing Authority staff are included in this report, as well as recommendations to successfully implement programs with housing authority residents.
