Module One: Overview of HIV/AIDS and Stigma
Defines HIV/AIDS stigma and key terms; identifies common feelings associated with stigma and root causes that lead to stigma.

Module Two: HIV/AIDS Stigma: Manifestation in Society
Identifies types of stigma, explains the origins and effects of stigma in our society.
1. Differentiate among instrumental, symbolic, and courtesy stigma
2. Describe effects of stigma on people of color
 
Module Three: HIV/AIDS Stigma: Impact on Access to Care
Explains how stigma and health disparities affect access to health care; explores the role of historical trauma in stigma and access to health care.
1. Explain how stigma influences decisions to accessing health care
2. Explore interelationships of historical trauma, stigma, and access to health care
 
Module Four: Strategies for Reducing HIV/AIDS Stigma
Identifies methods and strategies to reduce HIV/AIDS stigma at the individual, community and organizational level.
1. Identify methods for reducing HIV/AIDS stigma
2. Analyze options for HIV/AIDS stigma interventions for people of color
 
Module Five: Action Planning
Identifies action plans to reduce HIV/AIDS stigma.
1. Analyze sample scenarios to develop strategies for reducing the effects of HIV/AIDS related stigma
2. Develop an action plan to reduce HIV/AIDS stigma
